Featured Family of the Month!
Featured Family: Fred Dear Kathy,
Fred has continued to adjust to his new world. He is quite at home and comfortable coming to the office with me, he does expect a certain amount of playtime every day. He enjoys chasing rolling balls, has however no interest in retrieving them, he likes to chew on my hands (have resorted to wearing gloves, for a little dog he has quite a strong bite - and those pointy puppy teeth), I hope I provide the level of entertainment and play he would like and need. On Thursday he had his next batch of shots, all without incident. On Friday
afternoon, I took him up to the mountains with me, he really seems to enjoy wandering outside, exploring all of the smells and animal tracks (provided there is no snow). I did take him snowshoeing (Fred walking on top of the snow, me wearing snow shoes - there are up to 12" of snow left). We just returned from another lengthy walk and he is lying in my lap, sound asleep. Sometime tomorrow we are returning to the Spokane area for another day of work, before we fly to the east coast on Tuesday, where we will be for a little more than a week.
Fred continues to be a real pleasure to have around, I just hope that
he is as happy with me as I am with him.
Sincerely,
Martin

Update!
Attached should be a picture of Fred napping with one of his new east
coast friends. While the initial adjustment was a bit rough, the cats
accepted him as a friend, playing and napping with him.
Sincerely,
Martin

Another Update!
Attached should be a picture of Fred helping me "work". This was
taken a month ago. His interest in lying on and chewing on my laptop
have not diminished.
Sincerely,
Martin
