About Us
 We are two friends that are working together to bring this beautiful breed to select families that refuse to settle for less than a well breed puppy!
We are a member of the BTCA (BiewerTerrier Club of America). The BTCA is a group of dedicated, experienced breeders that are working together to bring you the healthiest, happiest Biewer Terriers possible.
Our Biewer Terriers are registered in Germany through the IBC and in the USA through ARBA and BTR. They are showing at the IABCA and ARBA shows and will be acquiring their Championships there. We are both registered with the BTCA.
Kathy---I started breeding Yorkies in 1998. I fell in love with the Yorkies because of their delightful personality and charm. In 2004, I came across the Biewer Terrier from Germany. Their unique coloring and personality puts them is a class of their own. Upon discovering the Biewer Terrier, I knew that I had to delve into this breed.
After much research and speaking to other breeders, I decided to import my Biewers from Germany. They were too new to the USA at that time to safely buy them here. I have been working since, to create some of the best lines available in the US. My sister Cynthia Fuller, PHD, a Geneticist, has been very helpful to me in my quest for "The Perfect Biewer". Together, Cindy, myself, and my fellow BTCA members have been working together to breed only the healthiest, defect-free, happiest and beautiful Biewer Terriers possible. My husband Sid has been ever helpful, too! Without him, I could not have come so far. Together we live on 9 park-like acres that is heaven for all of us!
Julie---My love for animals began at the young age of 5 years old, when my brother gave me my first puppy. He raised Basset Hounds and I begged my parents to let me keep one. That little Basset was the best friend a girl could ever have. She was there for me through all the twists and turns life takes a girl through, including my marriage and birth of my first child. She was a very special dog, and the main reason I decided I wanted to breed dogs.
I started with the Coton de Tulear and Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen, and one fateful day, I discovered the enchanting little clown, known as The Biewer Terrier. Their special qualities, beautiful coloring and personalities really pulled on both my husband's and my heartstrings. We knew this breed was going to be a part of our lives, and couldn't wait to learn more about the little German terrier. I began researching and talking to other breeders, breed clubs and found my home with the BTCA. I have been warmly welcomed into this club, whose focus is on the betterment of the Biewer. The president connected me to Kathy and the rest is history! Thanks to Kathy and her outstanding lines, I am now able to see my dreams of breeding and exhibiting Biewers become a reality!
Raising puppies has been absolutely the most rewarding job I have ever had. Being part of helping families choose their next pet is a special job indeed, and my hope is that each family we work with will find the happiness with their new pet as I did with mine.
My family and I raise our pets in our home, and it is truly a family affair. My three children help so much with the animals, and they are partly to thank for the loving personalities the babies all have. Between all of us and my children's friends that come to visit, these babies are very spoiled. We even have a neighbor girl that likes to come over on bath day, and help bathe the dogs! It is a riot. During the summer when we have the puppy gate outside with puppies running around, we end up with a yard full of visitors, too! Everyone loves to stop by and see our latest additions.
Not only are the animals cuddled and played with on a daily basis, I am also an advocate for feeding healthy foods to our pets. I feel very strongly that the health of your pet will be greatly improved if it is receiving proper nutrition and regular vet care. Our vets see our animals monthly, and we make sure our mothers are in tip-top shape for our breeding program.
