Waiting List

Waiting List

We do our very best to keep our waiting list up to date with the breedings and subsequent due dates. Occasionally a cycle can skip, come early (or change). Please keep this in mind when planning the arrival of your new little one-- this is the fun part of dealing with nature, but it is so worth it in the end to see these darling little babies!

Please email us for availability---we have occasional litters, and only plan litters when we have enough interest in a waiting list. If you are looking for puppies available NOW, we are probably not the breeder for you, as all of our planned breedings are carefully planned out in advance. Rarely, do we have puppies available outside of the waiting list.
Availability is subject to change weekly, so check back if you are looking for a puppy during a particular season/time-frame.

Waiting List Procedures

Application
Once you have submitted your application, we will review it and either approve or deny your application.  We will notify you within a week of your status.  Please be sure to fill out the application in its entirety, and feel free to write more info about your family if you feel it will help in your consideration for one of our puppies.
Deposits
When the deposit is made and the date has been posted on the application we will send a notice telling the sender we received the deposit and the date it was received. This date is important when submitting a request for a puppy, (refer to choosing descriptions below).
We will keep in touch via email with updates along the way. We usually have litters every 4-6 months, but due to nature and situations out of our control, (ex. a breeding not resulting in a pregnancy, single birth, etc)  be prepared for a longer wait.

Waiting Lists
When the puppies are born we will post the date the puppies will be ready to leave for their forever homes. (This is important for the waiting list to be prepared for when considering choosing a puppy from a particular litter.)   We will post it on our Nursery Page.  All delivery and shipping arrangements can be made during this timeframe.

A Note About Personality Matching
Many families ask us what we think about personality of our puppies, and if we feel the puppies are so different there could be a possibility they will not have a match in the litter they chose to wait for. Here is our opinion on the subject:
We are a firm believer that puppies each develop unique personalities and each have their natural tendencies they are born with. We find personality testing to be important in evaluating each individual puppy in order to find the best environment for it. That being said, ALL of our puppies have very loving and generally easy going sweet temperaments. It is the nature of their breeds, and any of the puppies from a litter would make a wonderful pet for a family. We work with all of my breeding stock to ensure they have the right temperament for breeding BEFORE breeding them. If we see unsatisfactory traits in an animal they are not considered for our breeding program. The differneces between the temperaments/personalities of each puppy are typically very slight, as they have all had such friendly dispositions. What we look for in helping match puppies are their tendencies such as; Alphas, shyness, mellowness, responsive to children, fear/response to loud sounds, easily startled, etc. These are the differences that help me find the best home for each puppy. EX: A quite, gentle puppy would not do well in a home with boisterous children or busy activity. It could react to the over-stimulation and become nervous. If the children over handle this same puppy, it could become scared and snap at the children to protect itself. This puppy would be better suited for a quieter home with less activity for it to feel secure. (For more info please refer to the ADOPTION POLICY page for in depth explaination of how personalities develop in animals) We have yet to hear from a family that their new pet was not the most perfect pet for their family. This again, is due to the way we raise our pets and the process we use to match puppies to their new homes. We take great care in how we raise our pets, socialize our puppies and kittens, and the quality of our dogs bloodlines we use in our breeding program.
The way you raise your puppy in your home will also effect how it behaves and grows!

Our Commitment
One of the main goals in our breeding program is building a relationship with our families. Our babies are loved and cared for while they are with us in my family home, and we enjoy getting to know our babies new families. It brings so much joy to our family to have our extended puppy families to keep in touch with. We occasionally babysit our babies for folks when they are going out of town, too. This is my passion, and I hope to be able to share one of my darling babies with you.

When puppies are born, we announce it on the Nursery Page and Announcement Page.

New Procedure:

  • Submit your application and indicate the time frame you would prefer to adopt your puppy.
  • We will notify you after reviewing your application of approval or denial of application.
  • Submission of deposit via direct deposit or Pay-pal must be received within 5 days of approval, to be placed on the waiting list.
  • Once we have received your application and deposit, we will keep in touch via email if you have any questions or just want to chat about puppies!
  •  Keep yourself informed by checking our announcements page for updates on upcoming litters. We will post all pertinent info on this page.
  • Once puppies are born, we will start posting their pictures as they grow on the Puppy Nursery Page. Here you will be able to watch them develop and change. We update pictures and videos approx. every 2 weeks. We also group the puppies together for the pictures so everyone can see the subtle differences between each baby. We found that the mind's eye would confuse people into thinking some puppies were larger or smaller than they actually were. This way you are able to keep your eye on how each puppy compares to the others. (Remember Adoption Day will be approx. at 5-6 weeks old for everyone  to request a puppy).  Regardless if your choosing for color only or personality preference---all requests will be accepted only at this age. So enjoy the next few weeks  watching the babies change. Their looks and colors will change drastically each week!

NEW!!! Adoption Day is at 5-6 weeks old----We have tried determining personality earlier, and after a few litters have decided it is best to wait until 5-6 weeks old to choose puppies. This is the best age to observe and determine the temperament of the puppies. It is very important for us to help my families choose the very best match for their families, and we honestly feel it is best to wait an extra week to watch the developing personalties of each puppy. Many people want a specific color, where others want a specific personality. We will accommodate both situations, when you make your request on adoption day. I will post the date for adoption day on the ANNOUNCENTS PAGE, in which We will list individual photos and descriptions of each puppy, including our observations of personality. (Read info on Adoption Policy Page on how we perform the personality tests). We ask everyone on the list to submit ONE REQUEST listing the puppies they would be interested in adopting.  Once we have received all requests, we will email everyone from the waiting list to notify them of the results.  We give first choice to the waiting list in order of (1) Date of deposit received (2) personality fit for a family, color and sex of puppy.

  • Availability status will be updated as families choose their puppies. If you see one you are interested in be sure to contact us immediately as this process goes quickly.
  • We will review all requests from families on the waiting list and contact everyone when placement has been chosen.
  • Your position on the waiting list will give you first priority
  • Sex of puppy doesn't need to be a high concern as that can be fixed by having your puppy spayed or neutered. What is most important is the personality and temperament of your new baby!
  • Delivery Day--- Families need to contact us about delivery and shipping of puppies. If you are having your puppy shipped, there is an additional charge for this. (listed on the adoption page)
  • After delivery or pick-up day we have a nice quiet evening at home with mommy. It is an emotional day for the family as we are happy the puppies are with their forever families but also miss the little ones. We give mom special attention so she can adjust to being without her puppies.
